Compliance with the LCEN and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

1. Site publisher & Data controller

This personal website presenting a professional curriculum vitae is published by:
Aurore Tillier (personal data controller)

2. Hosting & Technical service providers

The site relies on specialized technical service providers acting as data processors for its technical operation:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States): provides hosting through Cloudflare Pages and anti-robot filtering through Cloudflare Turnstile. As part of this abuse-prevention security function, Cloudflare processes the visitor’s connection IP address when verifying the request.
  • OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France): provides the infrastructure for routing and securely transporting emails via encrypted SMTP to Aurore Tillier’s mailbox.
  • Telegram Messenger Inc. : delivers an instant technical notification that a new message has been received. This notification is sent without any personal content (no name, email address or message excerpt).

3. Personal data protection (GDPR)

When you use the contact form, personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act.

Summary of commitments:
  • Data controller: Aurore Tillier.
  • Data processed: name, email address, message, transmission timestamp and connection IP address (processed by Cloudflare for abuse-prevention security).
  • Purposes: to respond to messages and professional inquiries addressed to Aurore Tillier; to secure the service and protect it against spam or malicious automated submissions.
  • Legal bases: explicit user consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR), given through the mandatory checkbox on the contact form for correspondence; legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR) for abuse-prevention security.
  • Withdrawal of consent: you may withdraw your consent or request deletion of your contact details at any time by sending a simple request through the contact form.
  • Recipients: Aurore Tillier for handling the messages, and the technical service providers required for delivery and security (Cloudflare for hosting and Turnstile, OVH for SMTP transport).
  • Transfers outside the European Union: data transfers outside the European Union may occur with Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) and Telegram Messenger Inc.; these remain “to be verified” with regard to their safeguards and applicable standard contractual clauses.
  • Retention period: messages and associated contact details received by email are kept for a maximum of 12 months from receipt at most, then permanently deleted.

Data subjects’ rights

Under European and French regulations, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection regarding your personal data.

To exercise these rights or withdraw your consent, simply send your request using the site’s contact form , indicating the email address used for your initial contact.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) on its website cnil.fr.

5. Cookies & audience measurement

This site uses no tracking cookies or audience measurement tools or advertising trackers. No cookies are placed on your device when you browse the site.
